Rethinking Associations

After witnessing a sitting president (the person holding the highest office in the country) of the United States, who’s constitution protects FREE speech was digitally muzzled, provoked me to stop and begin rethinking all of my associations or connections.

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms launched an all out war on silencing Trump by a click of a button. Sadly, these actions were baseless and unjustifiably enacted.

Now before I continue, this blog is not going to be a fear mongering message as God is in control and rules all. But we do need to be aware and make good steward decisions in this life He’s given us.

My goal in the message is that you’ll launch your own rethinking journey to take inventory of the connections we have to align ourselves biblically with businesses and connections that support Him and disconnect from those who don’t.

Big Tech Bullying

The big tech’s ultimate cyber bullying act, made me seek alternatives, like many other American’s who were outraged like I was.

With my experience being in the IT field, in my rethinking quest, I began my search on disconnecting from, what they call the Big 5.

The Big 5 consists of a coined phrase cybersecurity expert Rob Braxman, called MAGA FT in his video Beating Big Tech at Their Own Game! MAGA FT standing for Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter.

Although I haven’t watched this video yet, I’ve watched some of his other videos where he explained who the MAGAFT big guys are.

Prior to stumbling upon Braxman, I did an inventory of how I actually connected with all of the Big 5. As of this writing I am on the pursuit of disconnecting from the Big 5. I’m going to explain my reasons shortly both scripturally and technologically.

So I’ll begin with my main reason for writing this blog. We spend a lot of money shopping online especially in recent times because it’s much of a hassle to go out and wait two hours in line to just get into a store to buy something that normally would be an in and out purchase.

But going even further, during my rethinking quest, I began to see how many of the companies we buy our daily household goods and groceries are from corporate businesses that openly support organizations and causes that are contrary to biblical values and beliefs.

We could probably say 10 years ago that this idea of aggressively controlling who and where we make our purchasing decisions from leaned somewhat towards conspiracy and activism.

However, what has shifted today is that many corporate businesses have “aggressively” aligned themselves with causes that radically oppose biblical values and Christian values.

In my rethinking quest my wife and I discussed this and really thought and prayed about how we cannot, as Christians, give our money to venues that oppose our values and Christian beliefs.

Is it easy to make this switch? Absolutely not! Actually, the Big 5 that I’m going to talk about shortly have strategically positioned themselves so that they’re almost impossible to disconnect from, whether it be because of comfort in convenience or whether they’ve bought out smaller companies that we depend on so that we’re dependent on them.

Many of these corporations support Black Lives matter, Antifa, LGBTQ, and other anti-God, anti-biblical, ani-Christianity.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa

And for those of you who do not know that there is a difference between the premise, “Black Lives Matter” and the actual organization.

BLM is a terrorist organization. They incites violence and is anti law and anti “nuclear family”. They oppose wife and husband unions. This definitely contradicts the majority of Black American individuals who are pro Bible and have pro Christian values.

If you actually search for their website and values, they had what they stand for on their site. I haven’t looked at it recently but when I last looked, it stated the above I mentioned.

NGLCC

One of these is supporters of the National LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce. You can see a comprehensive list at: https://www.nglcc.org/corporate-partners. (I refused to link this site to our website so you can copy and post to see the list).

The big problem is that there are so many business like this. Unless you research, you won’t know that they support these causes. This makes the rethinking transition difficult.

Connected More Than We Think

On the technological side of my rethinking journey, I began to take inventory of everything that we use that relates to the Big 5. We have Amazon prime and unlimited music to order things that we don’t have to go out to shop for. And unlimited music for our Christian music, jazz (we’re jazz music lovers), and other clean music.

Google & Apple

We have FREE Google email and Drive accounts, use Google Maps when we travel, Google Search to lookup things and others.

I have a Windows 10 computer, Macbook pro laptops, iPhone, an Android (Google) phone, FREE Facebook accounts (both personal and business) and Twitter accounts.

If you think about it, you’re really more connected to these Big 5 than you realize and probably would like to be.

I used to think, “Ah, they’re tracking me. So what, I don’t have anything to hide.” But this is the reality. They aggressively track your every move more than you think they do. Get what if you have an apple ID? They make it impossible to use their products without registering for an account. This is used to track every single thing you do.

The data that they use are intended to track your life patterns so that they can sell you based on your activity. Your info is also sold to other businesses so that they can sell you stuff to.

But it doesn’t end there. It’s gone as far as this. They influence the media and news content you see that try to influence your political views and narratives.

They even use it to influence your value views by sending you content that may seem innocent. But eventually you start getting news clips on gay agendas, pornography sites, etc…

As I mentioned in my Watch What You Hear and See blog, we have take back our homes. We have to cut off any entrances to our eyes, ears and heart.

Microsoft

Microsoft holds the majority of the business and personal computing world. And yes, everything that you do on Windows or on the Microsoft realm is tracked. Your documents now in any Office product is held in the cloud with Office 365. The idea and technology is great but the problem is that the convenience is being used against us.

The good news is that there are operating alternatives Linux and other Linux alternatives.

Linux phones and other one’s are available as well. In my rethinking journey, I will be delving deeper into these. I want to learn and be able to share these resources with you as well.

Facebook and Twitter

Yep, you saw the evil hypocrites at work recently with the ban on Trump with Facebook and Twitter.

I saw hypocrites because the very thing that they allegedly support, free speech is the very thing they violated. And the whole violence incitement is garbage. Facebook and Twitter have known terrorist that have made terrorist threats to America on their platform but they did nothing to ban or remove their accounts.

Research & Development

As I researched articles on “ditching Amazon” I realized problem is greater than I thought. I dug deeper and guess what I found? Amazon’s practice has been to bait both consumers and businesses with the idea of convenience and ease of use.

For small businesses it’s a quick launch online with a clicks. Selling products is instantaneous.

As a consumer, convenience is the big seller. But then I looked even closer and saw that this was not an accident.

Amazon has placed themselves in this place of power that enables them to violate our constitutional rights just like the rest of the Big 5.

Independence Muzzled

…”we plan to suspend Parler’s account effective Sunday, January 10th, at 11:59PM PST.”, said Amazon AWS in a letter to Parler.

Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, has strategically put in their platforms not necessarily for the best of American consumers and business but to dominate and control the infrastructure of these platforms.

Not only does Amazon own the two I mentioned but they also own AWS. AWS provides many of the cloud computing platforms that many businesses use for the hosting, applications, and many other things.

This is a perfect example of the abuses Amazon is doing to those that are independent from Big tech.

Lies and Bigotry

I’m not going to go in depth on the fake news out there. They say that it was a Trump riot. However, there’s a lot of video footage from people that were there that says otherwise. And the President’s speech was going on while the riots were going on. How does that ? The Trump speech in now way incites violence. Neither do Trump supporters show any violence.

But what about sites that use AWS hosting that incite violence and support real terrorist that endanger the American people.

Now tragically, there were some Trump supporters that got caught up with the Antifa folks for whatever reason. But the few doesn’t represent the majority of the protesters.

City’s were completely destroyed in democratic run states but none of the far radical left condemned them.

The good thing is that the American people are seeing right through this and we’re done.

Part 2 Coming

Although this is just an introduction of what I uncovered, this is not a simple task but I want to share my findings in a future post.

Remember, the goal is to remove ourselves from giving money to those that oppose our biblical values. Finding alternatives is the key.

Sadly, one’s that supposedly named themselves as conservative news like Fox, did a RINO (Republican In Name Only) on us. It was disappointing to see. However, I believe God is uncovering and exposing those blemishes in our camp.

God is about to do something that we have no comprehension right now to see. Trump will server his second term but it will be a true God miracle. Remember, Lazarus was dead 4 days. Jesus did that so that there would be no hint of man’s doing. We’re in the impossible state. We’re at a, “Now what?” era. But God is taking us to the “Now God!” era.

It’s already done in the spirit. All we have to do is sit back and “watch the show,” as Kat Kerr keeps saying.
